The name Katrina means to cleanse and purify. We know the earth and the heavens are undergoing a cleansing and purification of the pollutions and sins that man has committed upon it. We also know that wind and water are the most powerful agents at GOD’S command. The writings of the prophets emphatically state that GOD(YAH) would raise up and send his ‘WHIRLWIND’ upon the world( especially Babylon/America) to punish the nations for their lawlessness. New Orleans, Louisiana, dubbed the ‘SIN-CITY’, has certainly exemplified America’s lawless, perverted society. Yet ministers and preachers in America continue to call America a land that is ‘Blessed of the LORD’, in spite of its moral decadence and perversion. These Hurricanes(whirlwinds) are spiritual baptisms and cleansings for the earth and the righteous servants of Yah(God), but at the same time they are agents of Yah’s destruction upon wicked nations who refuse to repent.

UK chancellor Gordon Brown said the London meeting of the world's seven richest nations would be remembered as "the 100% debt relief summit".
